i just tried to connect to xbox live and it said your router or ISP may be blocking access to xbox live and that i have to go on my pc and go to my router config. web page and make sure 3074 is open on my firewall
klick on your Start button and select "Run...". There, type "cmd" into the field and hit ok (without the quotes).
Then type "ipconfig" into the black window that opened and hit enter.
this will give you some infos, one of it beeing your Default Gateway.
Note this address: something like 192.168.0.1 or the likes and enter this exact number into the internet browser on your pc.
You should now connect to the webbrowser of your router.
It might want a username and password and you should have the option to configure the port to open. Unfortunately, the configuration is alwasy different on different router models, so without the exact router model you have we can not tell you how exactly to configure the router to open the port.
